The Foundation is pleased to announce the Sarolta Kodály Scholarship donated by Mrs. Zoltán Kodály for the academic year 2018-2019.
This full tuition scholarship will be granted to a worthy candidate accepted in the MA programme at the Kodály Institute.
The scholarship is meant for candidates wishing to study in the full MA programme of the Kodály Institute.
It is given primarily for second year study at the Institute but also open to candidates who have already participated in the Kodály Seminar in Kecskemét or in any short course organized elsewhere by the Institute.
Cost of living (room and board) and other expenses related to the study programme must be covered by the recipient.
Applicants must prove to have a solid musical background, a diploma in music, fundamental knowledge of the Kodály concept of music education and some years of teaching experience.
Applications must be accompanied by
– a detailed professional curriculum vitae
– two letters of recommendation in English, and
– a letter of motivation.
Application deadline: 15 May, 2018. Applicants will be notified by 15 June, 2018.

Decision of the Board is irreversible.
The winning applicant will be requested to send in a written report before the end of the academic year.
